A Model 15 357 Mag 4inch barrel..blued Walked in a LGS and was scanning the used guns....and as I was looking the owner placed a DW M15 357mag down...the gun has been carried some bluing worn off the end of the barrel ..but overall a good 90% gun....this fellow hates to do layaways..but a 100 bucks holds it for two weeks... Whew!!! almost missed it.... A pic of my Model 14 2.5 inch barrel

Very robust and accurate guns, very underrated by most.

Dan Wesson Revolvers are my FAVORITE.
I acquired my 1st Dan Wesson revolver, a drop-dead-gorgeous Model 15-2,357 Magnum, several years ago and didn't even know 'what' it was at the time - except I thought it must be a 'perfect' revolver, and I still feel the same way about them.
I later acquired a mint larger frame Dan Wesson in 44 Mag.
I also regret 'passing' on a DW 22 LR, and a 32 H&R revolver - and since then, I have not come across 'any' DW Revolvers.
But I'll keep looking.

Yep, they could be bought that way and are a great "one" gun to have.

Congrats Buckeye! I too stumbled into my LGS a couple of weeks ago and could not pass this 1981 .44VH up! Box, tools and paperwork, my guess it has never been shot! I hope to fix that soon;) Family shot

Man, my Dan wesson leather pistol case would fit some of those very nicely..........
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Thanks T, I may go look at them. Gunner Be forwarned, you'll probably be takin' it home. I aquired my third one about fifteen years ago. 1971 15-2 4" VH, unfired in the box. It was so "new" it still had the factory preservative in it. Needless to say, it has quite a turn line now.

Thanks AsphaltCowboy, i called and talked to the owner of this set, he stated it has interchangeable grips for the different barrels and comes in a nice padded lockable case. Never fired, and he was asking 1200 bucks for the set, I dont know, but that sounds high to me. Gunner

That actually sounds about right, given complete set and unfired condition.
Do a search of completed (sold) auctions on Gunbroker. Complete pistol pacs are going for insane prices the last couple of years. More and more people are catching on to what a Dan Wesson represents.

Yep, for a grand it is a great deal with the full pac including grips. MSR was $1,699 IIRC.

I love my Dan Wesson. Mine is a 715 (stainless) I bought new in the mid 90's. I have 4" and 8" barrels, chambered for .357, it is a real shooter. They are strong as all get out too.

Mine has been carried alot, and not been babied. Had a ton of rounds down it too. Not particular at all, will shoot just about everything pretty good, and alot of it amazingly good.
