Bushy, how much do you want for that plain ol model 70? Was not planning on selling my best rifle, But all unreasonably high offes will be seriously considered.

My friend bought a 71 for $300.00 last year......I know, I know.....that was just about stealing it but oh well...The funny thing about that deal was he sold the scope and base and kept the 100 rounds of ammo that came with it and was into the rifle for about $150.00 plus he got free ammo.....Why can't I come across those kinds of deals?????

That's a nice pre-27. If you ever want to get rid of it... Not looking to sell the pre-27. The unwritten rule among New Jersey handgun owners is: "Never sell a nice handgun -- you never know if the State will let you buy a replacement."
