I'm considering selling a couple items to raise funds for another pet project. Here's what I'm considering listing...
1. Kimber montana 270 wsm (2004 manufacture) with professionally installed muzzle break with 15' forward holes to push blast a bit forward rather that just straight to sides. Rife has been hunted and has basic hunting scuffs but nothing major, no scope. Trigger breaks like glass. I have not shot the rifle as of yet.
2. Like new, weatherby vanguard 270, wood stock. I "built" this rife for a buddy last fall, putting a Timney trigger in it, talleys and Vortex Viper 3x9x40, duplex type reticle. Accuracy of first group shot was sub 1/2" for 3 shots. I only loaded mild loads of hndy 130grain bullets to sight in (2850) fps. This rifle has been hunted with exactly 2 half day hunts. No more than 40 rounds down the tube and looks in immaculate condition. He called me the other day and asked if I would be interested in buying it from him or selling it for him. He say's "I'm just not a gun guy". (He bow hunts mostly and has a 35 remington) He is wanting to free up some cash for an anniversary present for his wife.
I'm just wondering what I could move these rifles for at fair prices for both buyer and seller. What say you??
