Sometimes the war gets pretty heated over there....I sold a left hand rifle there a couple days ago and actually felt bad for the guy...... blush. I guess he really wanted it though.....Talked to him on the phone and he seemed nice. He also mentioned the fact that these rifles sold new for something like $95.00.....Go figure......

Did you sell that LH 788 already you freaking putz?

If it was the 788 it probably did sell for $95 brand new.

Hey, I resemble that remark!
In my defense I added a few things to it before I sold it!

A McMillan stock, a nice walnut stock, and S&K's.
Upgraded the scope to a 3-9x40 Conquest from the 4.5-14x40 Vari-XIII that was on there when I bought it for $650.
Of course the scope was a straight across trade and I got both stocks used here at the 'Fire.

Nephew just bought a like new Weatherby Mark V 30-06 in left hand that was made in Germany for $500. An older lady had brought a bunch of left handed guns into this store after her husband passed away and the store owner had been sitting on them so long he was ready to deal. He evidently doesn't get on the internet.

Yeah, he's one of those guys that can fall into a pile of you know what and come out smelling like a rose. He also got a Pre-64 Model 70 Gopher Special in 243 for the same price with a Canjar trigger in it no less.
