Yep .222 works just fine on Indiana coyotes. I also use a 22.250 and .223 and a 22 K Hornet(out to 250 yards). If the Hornet will do it, then the .222 will also.
The 222 is quite adequate for coyotes. This guy took the first round in his east end while headed west.That was enough to stop him and put the next 40 gr Ballistic Tip in his chest. Range was just under 200 yds.

Thanks for all the input and advice. my Triple Duece is a Savage Model 340.I haven't shot it yet but I had one years ago that was a Tack driver.I used 20 gr of 4198 and a 55 gr Hornaday
