4 Buck Antelope tags, NE corner of NM #6647961 07/02/12

OP TexasPhotog Campfire Tracker T Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 3,044	Relatives of mine have 4 antelope buck land owner tags for sale. Their 6000 acre ranch is about 15 miles due south of Clayton, N.M.. There is no camping on site. Clayton is the nearest town. The terrain on the ranch is extremely flat with very little cover. Shots tend to be long to very long, so you need to be prepared for that. This is an opportunity for long range shooters to go for it. A gentleman and his wife came out last year. One got a goat, the other did not . I would not rate this as an easy hunt. That said, they have trophy bucks there. They have the genetics, and I�ll likely hunt this ranch this year. The tags are $1250 apiece. To be fair to non-res they can be there one minute and gone for days the next. I was on a 7000 acre ranch and there were no antelope on day 2. Great area still and good price. Good Shooting!
