In the Tough Mudder, I found the arctic enema painful (pins and needles for 3 or 4 minutes after completing) and the couple of stations with electricity extremely unpleasant to the point I would go around those in the future. The rest wasn't that bad. It would have been a little harder if not for the waiting in line at each station. For training, we did lots of "boot camp" type training and ran 6-8 miles two or three times a week.
