Loved the video but have to admit I hated the music.

Plan on heading to Algoma on the 25th of this month so would love to hear about what you guys use out there on the big water; lures, depths, speed, etc. as Lake Michigan is quite the step up to the lake we fish for salmon on out here.

Trying to figure out what new gear we might need to get before heading out.

I'm on the other side of the pond, but the techniques don't change much.

Stick to the basics of downriggers and dipseys. That's a good foundation. Beyond that you can add leadcore, or copper trolling lines if you want to expand your spread.

Spoons, plugs, and flasher/fly are the mainstays. A lot of guys run "meat" now too, but I don't.
