Middle pic looks stoned and third looks pissed. Nope, that middle pic he had gas. I get that same look after dinner.

I hate friggin glasses. I hate friggin not being able to see worse. I get the flexon frames and acrylic lenses. I don't give a schitt how they look, I care how they see.

I am with the poster who enjoys the protection glasses offer from flying debris. I had to go the the docter/emergency room twice for eye debris in the year prior to getting glasses (in my 40s). I now have progressed to the point that I have to wear progressive lenses, but have had zero problems with them. I see perfectly at any distance. Living, working, and recreating 'in the field' makes both my hearing and my vision critical parts of my existance.

Scopes don't pose a problem. They can be set to accommodate the corrective lenses. Binoculars are a different story. I cannot look through binoculars without removing my glasses. There are those that have no trouble with this. I do.

knocking his glasses off into the water. I have one pair on the bottom of the Red Cedar river, near Rice Lake, WI (capsized a canoe), one pair on the bottom of Lake Michigan, near Manistee, MI (another fisherman in the boat caught the frames on a backcast, and sent 'em out to sea), one pair on the bottom of the Chippewa Flowage, near Hayward, WI ("man overboard" - me), and the most recent -- and only saltwater loss -- came on the Gulf, outside of Port Aransas, TX (BIG waves started a chain of events on that one). I'm thinking a two-dollar lanyard, similiar to what I have on far less expensive sun glasses is sounding like the way to go.

i've never had glasses - went straight to contact lenses about 8 years ago. My vision isn't terrible but that is the way to go in my opinion

Transitions recently announced Polarized "Driver" lenses are available that will work while driving. Gotta have some of those.

Naw, a perfect Sheriff isn't young and imulsive, he's seasoned with experience. Quick with a handshake, friendly smile and demeanor - and if he smells BS, just puts a .45 bullet where it needs to be.
You're it.

I wear glasses. Didn't like them at first but I have given up counting the number of times in my life that glasses saved my eyes from flying objects. I considered lasik esp. when it first became reasonably priced. Then I remembered why I still wear glasses. Without a doubt, at some point I would have been blinded in both eyes had I not been wearig glasses. Yup, Glasses have saved my eyes many times over Glad I got em'

I wore glasses for about 10 years, then got hit in the face with a piece of steel, it broke my glasses and left me laying on the ground bleeding with the right side of my face very swollen. After the swelling went down about two weeks later I went in to the eye Dr. Somehow my vision corrected it's self I know have 20-15 vision in both eyes, I had been at 20-35 and 20-45. So i suggest just getting hit in the head by something really hard
