.270 Winchester.
I was thinking of common cartridges I haven't fired. .270 Win just jumps out at me, somehow I've never busted that cap... though I have shot a .270 WSM.
I have also never fired a .243. The .243 interests me a bunch more than .270.
Any common cartridge that you, dear reader, have not fired?
The CENTER will hold.

EVERYBODY is pro-gun, some just don't know it. When an anti-gun person is in trouble, the first thing they do is call 911 and demand that they send somebody with a gun!

Never fired a 270win either.
also never fired a 22 magnum or any centerfire in a pump action rifle .

I've fired other folks .270's with a clothes pin on my nose.
Still made me ill.

7mm Rem Mag is probably the most common rifle cartridge I have not fired.

I've never fired a 7mm, yuropean anything. Why? No need to since my .270 Win. does virtually everything I ask of it. All 7mm's. are just just redundant. Bear in Fairbanks

.280, .264, .300SM, and the Weatherbys are about all the semi-common ones I can think of. Owned or shot almost all the deer & elk-sized American calibers.

Still made me ill.

The 280 Remington is overbore.
The 7 Rem Mag is over bore.

Does anybody have the 2011 RCBS top selling dies list? I'd like to know what the currently most poplar round is that I've not fired.
Just curious...
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

Just curious... I would think the Redding Series A would be a similar list, as Redding says "The Reloading die sets listed in this category represent the most popular dies that we produce." : 204 Ruger 221 Remington Fireball 22 Hornet 220 Swift 222 Remington 22-250 Remington 223 Remington 243 WSSM 243 Winchester 6MM Remington 25 WSSM 25-06 Remington 257 Roberts 260 Remington 6.5 x 55 Swedish 270 Winchester 270 WSM 7MM-08 Remington 7MM Remington Mag 7MM x 57 Mauser 280 Remington (7MM Exp. Rem.) 30-30 Winchester 30-06 Springfield 300 Remington Ultra Mag 300 WSM 300 Winchester Mag 300 Weatherby Mag 308 Winchester/307 Winchester 8MM x 57 Mauser 338 Winchester Mag 375 H & H Magnum

I've owned and fired a .270, but I'm pretty sure that I've never fired a 30-06 or a 7mm Rem. Mag.

.270 Winchester. ... Any common cartridge that you, dear reader, have not fired? How common is "common"? Too many to list depending. Not even sure what the list contains as I've shot quite a few rifles belonging to other people over the years. Don't own a .243 or .270 Win, though and suspect they are on the list. 7mm-08 is likely on the list. Anything in x55, x57 or H&H is probably on the list, too. Anything in TC, PPC, WSM, WSSM, SAUM, Dakota, WBY, RUM or Lapua is very likely. Anything ending in "Savage" or "-3000" is a given. Never shot a "Hornet" or "Bee" or "Fireball". Never shot anything between .375" and .44" that I can recall. And many others...

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.
A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.
