Well due to the small wheel wells a lift was required to fit somewhat capable tires under the cherokee.

After looking aorund I found the best price to be from Rough Country. So I ordered the 3" suspension lift kit with add a leafs.

The kit included 4 shocks, 2 coils 2 add-a-leafs, 5 shock boots, I also got a steering dampner.

I ordered the kit via online on sunday the 4th it went out on moday and got here exactly when they said TODAY!!!

I decided to put a set of 31x10.50 Cooper discoverer STT's on it.

eventually I want to. Our bronco has a detroit locker in it and its a lil to extream for a daily driver. I was thinking about either a possi or saving up for air lockers.

But that will be a while. Tires alone are goona cost be 600 bucks. and th lift was near 350. so im goona be in the hole for a while.

I think the first thing on my list though is bumpers that have some shackels or something on them that I could hook towstraps to. I get nervous using the axle for the tie down point of my tow strap.

Those Coopers are good until you get to about 50% tread, then they stink. Take a look at some Procomp tires. I switched from Cooper to Procomp and there is no comparison. I won't be going back to the Cooper.

seems to me like most off road tires are purty much worthless off road and are just a louder high-way tire once they get to 50%

Well We got the lift kit on today. It took about 4 hours and a pot of coffee. Then we went down and had the 31/10.50 cooper discoverer STT's put on it. Heck I even washed it. I forgot that the jeep was white.

Anyhow I hardly recognized the jeep when the brought it out of the tire shop

you've never run a good off-road tire..... also the amount of miles you get before you hit 50% counts. Coopers 15K and they need repacing.
