Mabey not real stiff, but rather grabby. Any ideas on how to make it a little smoother?

Thanks

Are you putting pressure upwards on the magazine? Mine doesn't play nice if I'm using the 4-round magazine and the rifle is supported even partially on the mag. Not much help .... Just my observations with my rifle?

Just work it a lot to smooth it out. Polishing the bolt might also help, but working the action many, many times will ensure that it smooths out in the right places.

Make sure the action screws aren't too tight, you can actually warp/bend the action if the action screws are too tight. I actually had to build up a pillar under the center of the action on my 17V, to keep it from bending when snugging up the screws.

You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
