I've got a few old marlin 36 lever 30/30's one has
36- A- DL- A
What does the letters mean? Thanks.

The 36 indicates it's a model 36 the model made prior to the present 336. The "A" indicates it should have a 24" barrel. The "DL" indicates it has a checkered stock. I have no inkling what the additional "A" stands for.

Would like to see pictures of your Marlin 36.
