For those of you that have used a COAST flashlight or headlamp, what has your experience been with them? Battery life? Durability? Brightness? Thinking about getting a headlamp from them and just wanted to see what the general consensus was first....

I have a couple. The T-7 is about the perfect tool for deer hunting. It is one bright light when focused and on high power. When on high power and defocused it will light up a four foot circle like daylight. Really great for blood trails. On low power and defocused it won't fry your night vision on the way out to the stand. It's small and very pocketable, 5 inches by one inch diam. If you should need it, on high and focused, it will easily light up anything at 150 yards if you need to shoot.
The headlamp is bright, but lighting something up close to your face even on low power will fry your night vision.
Battery life is super. Gold contacts inside mean no bad connections. LED bulb means it lasts forever.
I have a 7738 which is less bright but still focuses the same and is just a little smaller.

I've had both flash light and head lamp. I used them for surfcasting where your equipment takes a beating! The short of it is go with Princeton Tec headlamps you wont regret it. As for flashlights i still carry the mini mag...but i bought the LED one. End of problem with bulbs blowing.

I lost my Minimag that I had converted to LED. I found a bunch of Coast lights at HomeyD and bought a Coast G25. It fits perfectly in the tool pocket of my Carhartts. I've had it about a month, but it outshines the LED minimag and is $18.
