Price here was $3.49 this morning here.

I know one thing for sure, the motor on the boat, 115 Johnson EFI, SIPS fuel. I think the tank is 30 gallons, and I haven't filled it since the first time. Fished everyday on the big Chip, a few long runs, a couple days on Mille Lacs with reletivly short runs for that lake, and a few jaunts on the local hole, and I still have 1/4 tank left.

I'd guess Dave's is probably close to the same, but you're pushing a lot deeper boat.

I wish cars could have the same emmissions as boats, we'd all get 30mpg's.

Well, our 115 efi 4 stroke merk was like that. But this 150 efi 4 stroker yami does drink a little more fuel.

But it will push the boat along at 45-50mph if you feel like going that fast too.

grin

Dat's right...I was thinking you had the yammi 115.

I can't hit 45, but I get a sniff above 42 with just me and Jack in it. 40mph with 3.

She's rated for a 150. That sucker would scoot with 150.

I am pleased with the fuel usage on my 115 Yamaha. It is a long time and lots of fun between fillups!

I got the LED lights at Costco.

All the stations are up to $3.949 today. Our upcoming trip to Montana is going to be expensive.

I buttoned the engine back together on my "new" hunting truck.

She was clappin and slappin, misfire.. had some bad valves.

So I refurbed a spare set of heads, tore them down, cleaned the castings, cleaned the valves. Hand lapped the valves with grease based valve compound, ordered new stem seals and springs, a gasket set...

Yeah, anyways, it's back together and it runs really nice now.

We'll be taking 94 through ND on the way out. It's almost 200 miles shorter. If the kids want to see Devils Tower ot Mt Rushmore we'll come back through SD.

Both of those stops are definatly worth it. Devil's Tower was something I passed on several times. Once I made the trip, I wish I had long before. The Black Hills area can consume a person's time for many days.

I think I'm going to take the kids to the Black Hills and possibly Yellowstone next year.

They've been asking about it.
