I have had most of the powder measures plus $1000 of the best benchrest powder measures. None of them throw the coarse extruded powders worth a darn. The lyman 55 is probably the best of all of them when it comes to coarse powders. The old Belding and Mull was decent also, but I have resulted to the Lee dippers and trickling down to the tenth of a grain. The way that coarse powders pack in the throwing column is the key to understanding their inconsistancies.
A really good powder measure is the Redding BR-30 that has a pistol and rifle insert. This powder measure will throw fine powders just as good as the most expensive benchrest powder measures.
Powders that are larger than h322 do not throw worth a darn, even Varget will vary by .5g.
My brother bought me a Lyman Charge master, I throw the large mass with the lee dippers, then trickle with the Charge master...you can load a lot of shells this way. I am prone to get hit by lightening where I live at the end of an electical line, it will probably get fried some day when I forget to unplug it like my electronic scale, fax's, frig, etc.
Good luck
