I've had a Summit Viper for a LONG time. It was one of the best purchases I ever made.....tough, light and quiet.

Summit!! I loved my Northstarr climber as well, it was so light and "bit" the tree very solid so you could climb effortlessly.
My buddy had a summit bushmaster awhile back and it was an
awsome stand too!

Summit Viper is all I use......love them. I'd like to get the Summit Open Shot to use during archery season; limb clearance is an issue when I hunt with a recurve bow out of the Viper.

Ol man vision. Had one for 10 years and still just a comfortable as new. Stability is as Good as it gets. My cousin hunts in a summit and swears by it. Don't really think you'd go wrong with either but I would recommend ol man

Lone Wolf if you can swing the expense, but avoid the China made run from 2010, best choice for a climber, but my Summit Viper is still my favorite backup.

I love the Old Man.It packs compact and is very quiet.I have never used one of the newer ones with the bent arms to give more waist room.The only negative about the old version is that you needed to be in a tree as big around as you are to sit or stand comfortably.

Lone wolf. Packs well, quite (even when below freezing), lightweight and comfortable for all day sits!

Right on with the Summit Ole Man. I too have used one for years. I'm a big guy and it is very comfitable. I use mine for bow and gun seasons which are from October - end of January here in Mississippi. I have lots of tree time in mine. I still believe in safety harnesses and common sense while using any stand though.

I have an original Ol Man Grand Vision, you couldnt buy it from me. Made in Mississippi and holds my 280lbs like a champ.

Anyone ever try a Tree Walker climber?
They look pretty interesting.
I am going with a Lone Wolf Assault Hang On and 4 climbing stick set up.
Pricey,I know.
There are just too many hunting spots that a climber is not suited to.
I also like that the Lone Wolf can be set up on crooked trees. Another big advantage,IMO.

Frank that's how I roll I think I have 8 sections of stick for higher set ups and also for more than one set up in differnt areas....the hang on stand belt with hook makes hanging a breeze and you can have a bunch and leave them set up so you are ready to roll with out leaving your stand in

At least take a look at the Tree Saddle. A more secure and effective way to hunt out of more trees cannot be found. PERIOD! http://trophylineusa.com/products.php
