I've got several 4sevens (now foursevens) AA lights and they are all impressive.

I've heard very good things about Zebralight and actually have one coming in the mail.

Check out the Fenix brand double A model. I've got the LD-20 LED Tactical. 190 Lumens & weighs next to nothing. Its just as bright as the models that use the 123 type batteries & I think the AA battery models get more battery live, ie burn time + batteries are much cheaper!!!

I also bought the single AA model. It's 100 lumens bright & I can clip it on my hat when walking to my deer blind in the dark. It's the Fenix LD-10 model.

I'm kind of Flashlight addict. I've tried about every brand out there from Surefire to Sreamlight. I think the Fenix line is the best by far for brightness, durability, & quality by far!
I keep a Fenix AA model LD-20 in my hunting pack, truck, nightstand, & on my 4 wheeler. I also carry the single AA model LD-10 I'm my pocket or jacket at all times. All my hunting buddy's & friends that have tried mine have ordered one the next day! And all my huntin pals are a pretty skeptical bunch. Not to mention being pretty tight with their money, even though they could afford any flashlight they wanted.

Check out the http://www.batteryjunction.com/ web sight. They have great prices on flashlights & batteries & stock about every brand made. They have fast free shipping & great service. You won't regret buying a Fenix & will be ordering another after you try your 1st one. Hope this was helpfull.

I keep the Fenix LD 01 (AAA battery, 72 Lumens) in my emergency pack always. This is a back-up and runs same batteries as my headlamp. Very pleased with it, using it for reading or around camp does well. Would get bigger model as primary light such as Chlinstructor's LD 10.

250 lumens, 4.5" long, has a clip, and uses 3 AAA's.

If you search a bit you should be able to find this light in the $26-28 shipped. After buying one I ended up with three.
