What is the best way to ship rifle ammunition? Any particular rules or things I should be aware of? packaging?
i was thinking that I would use one of those "if it fits it ships" boxes from USPS.

No post office, not legal. UPS or other common carrier and must be marked: Ammunition, small arms ORM-D on the outside of the package on at least one side.

UPS or FedEx. I like the latter. USPS shipping is illegal, end of story.

Depending on where it's going, FedEx may use the USPS. Just so you are aware.

the Fed Ex nd UPS main offices in the Springs require you to have an account ith them to ship ammo.
