All:
I have an opportunity to get a 1963 A-5 20 Ga. for $425. They only thing wrong with it is there is a little 1/3 inch chip out of the toe and a small little dent in the forearm. The rest is pretty mint. I really don�t know what the values of these are. It has the top matted barrel and I think it is a full choke.

I think thats a fine buy, and if the chip bothers ya to much you can always send it off to Karnis in the off-season and I bet he could fix that chip.

Where else could you get as much gun for $425?
I'm getting more of the opinion that an A5 still beats every autoloader out there.

ive got a 1929 12ga lite A5,i like mine alot better than benelli or any other auto.

I have a a 20ga A5 about the same age. It is well used and shows it. I grew up with it and my dad and I hunted it hard. You couldn't get it from me for $425.
