Yes it's basically a winter RV to hang out in and pull a few fish up through the floor while we're playing cards, watching movies, drinking beer and visiting. grin

I for one wish the rest of this Summer stays beautiful like it has been then you get -20*F on November first for the entire month. It then can begin to snow record amounts for the remainder of the Winter. A man can always dream.....

I was going to ask you that. It looks like there is an A/C unit on top. Is there?

WB, since you're wishin, could it be -20 until the friday before deer opener, then warm up to like +15, drop 3" of fresh fluffy snow that night, and stay about +15 through, like maybe Wednesday?

It is for late season ice fishing, when the ice gets thin you turn that on to re-freeze the ice. If it is really late, the wind pushes your little ice fishing island to shore.

Stan, it is a manufactured unit. I wouldn't say hugely mass produced but they are becoming quite popular up north here.

They seem to have become hugely popular with my friends too. 3 of them in the last week bought Ice Castles. Which is good for me, then I don't have too. smile

Dave, the finished product looks VERY well made. The design was what prompted my question.I like it very much as I am positive that you guys do also since you bought it.I am sure that the versatility of it will suit your family lifestyle very well.

Wow. That's plenty. I've never seen more than 2 cubs, but I think Skane posted a pic of a mama bear and five cubs from their northern WI cabin this spring. May have been 4 but I think it was 5???
