Just curious what volume/demand might be needed for Zeiss to make a limited run of a 6x, in a Conquest config? Seems they could use the tubes from the older discontinued model.

My impression is that Zeiss won't care. With the launch of the new Diavari's, they got rid of one of the best scopes on the planet, the Diavari 2.5-10x42.
It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

I don't know what the demand level is, but I do know that every time I talk to Zeiss, I request that they make a fixed 6x42 conquest with a #4 reticle.

John A BIG +1, especially if it's an etched reticle and on the first focal plane.

John, I guess I need to start bugging them as well IIRC Zeiss has etched in all scopes/mods. One reason I am interested, not to mention superb glass.

Why would you think it matters which focal plane the reticle is placed in on a fixed power scope ?

The only thing I had to offer as an improvement for the 4x, was for it to have had the Same substension as the Zplex on the 3-9.
If they priced it right, I'd prob buy several, very well could be the only scope I'd run on all rigs.

John I'd be happy with just the elevation turret being target-style...

John - Laffin! Good one!
Irony of all this, Swaro stopped selling the 4x and 6x. Yet, a rep told me a few weeks ago they still make the 6x, not sure about the 4x, but they won't sell them here.
Too bad Bushnell did not do a 6x, they have a 10x 3200 and w/knobs if inclined.
