What procedure for tightening the screws? I seem to remember you should tighten the front screw all the way down then tighten the rear screw but I'm not sure. (Rem 700 action)

I feel you should bring them both to where the bolt stops without a lot of pressure, then tweak them. If you give this guy a call, he's a gun maker. Bill Simmon. at 1-724-529-7240, and run it past him. I have read, that an action can actually be "bent" , not permanently, by tightening one bolt all the way, the tightening the other one. You in Washington state, could perhaps call Bisen's and ask them (big time gun makers).
