Anyone make a nice butterknife bolt handle?

Have a project in mind for the wife. She perked up at the mention of silverware.

I'd suggest talking to your 'smith before you buy the butterknife bolt handle, as some of them are quite sharp, so much so that cycling the action can be a little painful, and some of them require a high bolt lift, such that you might need to use higher rings. Some of the Interarms Mark X mannlicher stocked rifles had an attractive butterknife style bolt handle that had both a sharp edge and a high bolt lift, both objectionable to me.

I have owned one. That sort of cured me. Like 260 says, they can be sharp. I love how they look, but like that piece of rock candy in Lone Watie's pocket, it's more for looking than eating, (or shooting).
