I just bought a LH M70 Sporter chambered for the .270WSM. I'm swapping out the walnut for a 22 ounce EDGE and plan on running the 9.3 ounce Leupold VX-2 Ultralight in either 3 ounce S&K's or 2 ounce DNZ Hunt Masters. The 24" barrel will stay and there will be no lightening of the action. Will this combo net me a 7 pound or under rifle? Is the bottom metal on these aluminum or steel? If steel, how much will going with the aluminum one piece PT&G BM save me?
Thanks!

The rifle is suppose to be 7lbs 4 oz. I think the stock will come in around 34-36 oz so you should be close but would guess you will be over 7lbs slightly.
