Not a gun writer. I saved some money and got a regular stainless A-Bolt. Sub MOA with RL 17 and a number of bullets. Kicks pretty good with 200 grain and heavier bullets. 160 TTSX work very well on big caribou but 175 Sierras group the best out to 400 yards.
I love the good BC on the 160 TTSX. At .400 and capable of 3200+ ft/sec it's quite the bullet. Recoil is also relatively mild. I have loaded up 180 TSX's for moose but always seem to have a 358 Norma in my hand when I see one.
Can't make the 200 Accu-Bond shoot so far. If it does in your rifle would be a great all round choice. 200 speers shoot well, 195 Hornady's don't but an old lot of 220 Hornady Spires are superb as is the 220 Sierra.
RL 17, H414 and H4350 have all done a good job with RL 17 hitting the best combination of speed and accuracy.
