Own 2 zeiss, 1 leupold and 1 aimpoint (red dot). Have also owned a slew of leupolds and swarovskis in the past as well as a couple of trashcos/bushnells in my younger days. As with rifles, i have decided that quality beats quantity

All of my early scopes were Lyman. The Lyman factory is close to here and for decades Elihu Lyman made the Blue Trail Range free to all.

The Lyman's are and were very important to the shooting sports.

My first scope was a 6X Lyman Wolverine which I still have.

These days I also have Leupolds and others.

Here is one of the Supertargetspots.

Here is a "brand" I never see listed... Weatherby. Yeah, I know Weatherby didn't really manufacture them, but that's what is says on the eyepiece.

Speaking of which, who did manufacture Weatherby scopes? It is crystal clear for a scope from the mid 1990s. It says Weatherby Supreme 3-9x44.

It is really a fine scope. I tried to see a difference between it and my Swarovski AV 3-9x36 and I couldn't. I would think the newish Swarovski would put it to shame.

Kahles
Swaro Habicht
Swaro PH
Swaro AV

I have no idea how many but it would be fair to say over 75 and that's a WAG.

Right now, all Leupolds and one Schmidt Bender...easily the best variable of the bunch.

Zeiss, Kahles, Pecar, Leupold, Prominar, Tasco, Bushnell, assorted cheapies and old German scopes.

But best of all...it was Fathers day last Sunday, so I rang my wife and breathlessly told her that I had managed to order a Leupold VX3 1.5-5 for Fathers day and that I would take her over to the local gunshop to pay for it.
I heard her grind her teeth over the phone before agreeing that that was indeed a fine idea.

So..heh heh...I count that one as a definite WIN!!!

Happy Fathers day to me, happy fa...!
