relatively painless....use Photo bucket, as it is easier. I initially loaded everyting in Shutterfly, but they do not have the [img] code function (not that I could find).
There is a topice link at the bottom of the main forum on how to post the pics.....

This time I have pictures. I was hunting at www.farm-lichtenstein.com. This ranch or farm is about 30km southwest of Windhoek. Only about 1 hour from the main airport. The accomodations were very good. The food was excellent and the friendliness and hospitality of the Rusch family was unbeatable. All the animals I ended up taking were gold class, but this was an added bonus. I was expecting a desert setting...wrong...we were between 6200-7200 feet and mountainous. Not the Rockies, more like the Smokies and Appalachians. The land is ancient, crystals up to 15-20 lbs of quartz just laying there on the surface. Basalt formations, and sedimentary rocks pushed up toward vertical. This was once part of the supercontinent from long ago. Parts of South America and India are here. I am not a geologist, buut you can see the oldness here. This was taken close to evening on day 1. A good mountain zebra mare

This was from day 2. And my true prize. One horn measured 60", the other 59.5". The circumferences of each horn was 12". Total score of 141. He was beautiful. And very old, 12-13 years.

Last days hunt. This was a very nice gemsbok, trailed and stalked him for about 2 hours. That's what it felt like, anyway. At 7000 feet for someone who lives at sea level.

All great animals, and it sounds like a great hunt as well!

Man, I would love to go back immediately. But not ralistic. But if I do, I will go to the same place to hunt. Then I would sight see Namibia. There is a lot to see there. Seems a bit safer than South Africa.

Thanks, Guy. The Kudu is just special, I can't believe how fortunate I was.

Thanks for the kind comments. All of the animals were exceptional. This was my first trip to Namibia, and I want to return. This was a great farm to hunt and should be considered. I did post their link in an earlier post.
