I have had most of the name brands over the years. I like old scopes and low powered fixed scopes.

2-Leupold M8 3x
1-Leupold M7 3x
1-Leupold M8 4x
1-Leupold M8 2.5x
2-Weaver K2.5x
2-Weaver K1.5X
2-Weaver K3x
1-Weaver K4x
1-Redfield 12X
1-Unertl Falcon 2.5x
1-Lyman All American 4x (need a turret cap if you know where to find one, tried Parson's already)
1-Lyman All American 2.5x
1-Swift Stag 4x
1-Simmons 4x
1-Tasco 4x
1-Vapenringen 4x (not familiar with this brand but it came in a trade)
1-Bushnell 3-9x (in true Bushnell fashion failed at the most inopportune time and needs to go back for repair or replacement and then goes back to the guy who gave it to me)

Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

hairbol,

What's your regret with the Zeiss 1.8-5.5x38 Conquest?

I've never handled one, just curious.

Dirtfarmer, Magnumdood got it! Have sold lots of optics - it's the one I wish I hadn't. But I know where it is!

But best of all...it was Fathers day last Sunday, so I rang my wife and breathlessly told her that I had managed to order a Leupold VX3 1.5-5 for Fathers day and that I would take her over to the local gunshop to pay for it.
I heard her grind her teeth over the phone before agreeing that that was indeed a fine idea.

So..heh heh...I count that one as a definite WIN!!!

Happy Fathers day to me, happy fa...!

Above mentioned Leupold has rocked up...it works fine, and shall go on the Brno 21.

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

I've owned dozens of scopes but I'm slowly getting rid of everything but one Zeiss Conquest and the Leupolds. I do have one Nikon Prostaff 2-7X32 on my Encore Muzzleloader.

He bought one, I think on the Fire.

He's a regular Fire contributor.

Those scopes aren't that common and have since been discontinued, so I was just thinking that it could be the same one.
