Anyone have experience with these scopes? I like the different turrets for the three bullet weights. Would make shooting squirrels at different ranges much easier. http://www.bsaoptics.com/scope.aspx?productID=45This would be going on a new 22 rifle I am going to buy in a few weeks.

No experience with this scope but it is a Basically Sucks Ass. Can't imagine ever putting one of these on the cheapest of .22s.
Any Mueller would be a better choice IMO.

One more thing.
Never, EVER, put any credence in a review posted on the website of the manufacturer.
Seriously, are they going to post a review which is anything less than glowing?

Good one! Not the scope, the joke. I hear good things about the Mueller scopes as well as the Hawke scopes among the lower priced brands.

What's more important? The 6-18, A/O, or turrets?
What rifle?

I have played a bit with a few of them...here is my take:
The Sweet .22 is a Sweet profit for BSA. there isn't very much good to say about the optics. I guess that they will work OK on a .22, but what I have found in testing against, say a comperable scope that did not have that (in this case, one of the Vortex Crossfire I's that are refurbs on Ebay for like $100 delivered) is that the BSA's little turrets will get you close, but do not expect to be dead on with them, and this was aslo reported when the scope was reviewed by American rifleman about 10 years ago when they were the hot thing. in the comparison i mentioned, the Vortex had (has) just a plain cross hair, yet with just a bit of holdover that anyone who spends very little time shooting would naturally apply always seemed to put me just as close...and I ain't no Quigley. Also, the optics on BSA scope really do bite.
I have had two Leapers scopes that come to me in trade, and they were very promptly sold on ebay. i was particularly UNimpressed, and I do not have big bucks to buy Zeiss or any of that 'several-months-pay' glass that some other guys here and elsewhere can afford. The Leapers is in the same path, if not worse, than the BSA...just sayin' and IMHO.
If I 'Wuz Po', (and I am), then I might recommend looking for a used a Vortex, or one of the refurbs like I alluded to above. another scope that is actually quite good, and yes, China-Made, are the new Weaver Kaspa Series. I have one of those and like it much.
Hope this helps

I had a BSA Sweet .22 that was on a rifle I got in a trade. It was such a POS that I threw it in the trash.

The only time BSA is the answer to anything is if the question is; "What's the next best thing to the tube inside a roll of paper towel to mount atop my rifle?" Winnie, save the cheddar.
