I'm headed for work this weekend. Someone's got to do it I guess. grin

I'm not going to get to hit the bushes until next weekend, which we'll be chasing birds and fixing/building deer stands.

The wife and I are attending our first high school grand reunion, 50 plus years. Going to be strange attending a HS reunion with my 89 year old uncle.

Sunday is furniture moving day. We have to move all of the furniture out to the garage so the carpet/tile folks can do their thing.

Open's saturday in MN too. It's supposed to be 85* outside. I'm going to wait for cooler weather.

Man, the weather changing sure stirs the hunting bug in me. 'Gonna walk up across the street and watch the guys banging the geese. They hunt a field near us and have a pretty good spread. They cut that field a couple days ago, and the geese come out of a nearby park just like someone rang the dinner bell. The guys have a full set up with lots of decoys, layout blinds, flags, and the most hyper black lab, goose catching machine I've ever seen. She's one tough dog. Watched her chase down a cripple for them last year. The goose wasn't hit real hard and could get off the ground for 10 or 15 yards and then back down again. She chased it clear across the field and then actually knocked it down out of mid air and hauled it. back. 'Beats watch a video any day.

Probably heading to the range next weekend. Just gotta go shoot something!

Huh. You'll be within a few miles of Shooterville. Get my number off of FB if you want to stop in. We'll be there doing some stand work.

Cool! We went to the lake cabin (which is not real far from there) last weekend and went four wheeling. The trees were starting to turn color. What were they like this weekend?

Have to put on the dirt bit! They don't bite real good when they are feeding on worms however.

grin
