I am not sue about the "C" coating, but the "T" coating is Lutotec, similar tp Bushnell(I think) Rainguard.

From what I understand, the *T coating was used on the top end Diavari scopes (Z, V, Victory). The Lotutec coating came around with the intro of the Victory Diavari scopes. The C, I'm not sure of. I know if there is an "MC", that is the multicoat used on the Conquests and the predecessor to them.

Carl Zeiss T* multicoating (T*)

Zeiss patented multi-layer anti-reflective coatings with a unique transmission balance across the whole visible spectrum for optimum performance, dawn to dusk. An ingredient in the FL Concept.

Diavari-T* scopes are higher up the food chain than Diavari-C

Diavari C, made in USA, Conquest MC, assembled in USA.

Lotutec is the waterproofing.

"Zeiss LotuTec coating sheds water, dirt, grease,
and grime. Lens can be easily wiped clean without smearing."
