My take down is easily in the same ball park as the 3 regular 10-22s I have. That said that is only with one ammo tested in the TD. My guess is that it will blow the others out of the water once I get to play with a few different ammo suppliers. I plan to buy a few more for the kids.

I haven't tested mine much bu tI would say no from the bit of shooting I have done with it.

Not at all from what I can tell....mine is very accurate and stays that way after repeated separation and assembly

My TD seems to be as accurate as my non-takedown 10/22. IMHO, it's too bad that Ruger didn't make them a bit lighter.

Question for all posters: What size groups are you getting at 50 yards? Thanks. Using mismatched ammo, I was running groups of 1.5 with rest but not bench shooting using a leupold 4x scope When I find the ammo it loves, I am sure it will get better

Question for all posters: What size groups are you getting at 50 yards? Thanks. I haven't measured any groups yet, but my TD is minute of groundhog accurate with CCI Velocitors.

jimmy - I don't know about accuracy - seems OK but no precise shooting done yet. My grandsons like shooting it with the new Ruger made 25-round banana magazines. So do I for that matter.
Boy they can shoot up the ammo!

Mine shoots great and out shoots my regular carbine. I was getting 0.8 inch 5 shot groups at 50 yards with mine, using Win Subsonic HP. No change in poi when you take it apart.
