Interesting article. These 'new' firearm enthusiast's, is a good thing...right? Makes us a stronger community...I hope so. I agree with the internet comment, overall the web is good for liberty. http://www.humanevents.com/2012/09/21/the-new-gun-culture/Quote from the article: " No single material thing is likely to have had a greater impact on humanity than the internet. The internet, and more specifically, the world wide web, has allowed people to communicate around the country and all over the world with virtually no interference from the government. Being able to come together and share ideas about politics, self defense and recreational shooting has helped cause a surge in new gun ownership especially by people who have never been exposed to the traditional methods of introduction into our community."

Good article and more fascinating comments. The us vs. them culture appears to be very alive inside our own shooting and hunting community and I find the vitrole no less distressing than us gun owners vs the non-shooting community.
If something on the internet makes you angry the odds are you're being manipulated

"especially by people who have never been exposed to the traditional methods of introduction into our community."
This in particular caught my eye...not from traditional hunting communities or veterans, instead computer games, video's and the web. The article asks how will manufactures respond? Ammo makers? Gunwriters?
