As much as I love my Savage lever rifles I don't consider myself a "collector"
That said I have finally filled my need to complete my ABC clan with the 1899A TD in 30-30.
A couple of pics - the ABC's in Winchester cals and my shooter 99's in Savage cals.
top down:
1899C 38-55
1899B 32-40
1899A 30-30

99? TD with Stith mounted 2.5 Savage scope 22SavHP
The FrankenSavage, my saddle gun 303Sav
99A My personal favorite shooter and the only tang safety(needed the faster twist barrel) in the bunch with 6x Burris 250-3000
99EG Tomato stake, a factory D&T with jeweled bolt that would very nice if someone hadn't stabbed that gawd awful pad on it's arse 300Sav

The 99EG was my first 99,followed a week later by the 99A...been hooked ever since...

Old Savage levers and the meat that it brings
These are a few of my favorite things

Good group, though I really think you need to keep your eye open for an 1899A in 25-35 to round that top set out. Not that I have one myself yet. grin

I passed on an A in 25-35 a weekend ago at a gun show a couple hours south of here...
It was original, but in very rough shape...wood,metal,bore...and was tagged at $750...

I know where I can get another one but the rear sight is missing, the bore is dark and the buttstock has been hacked and a pad added...if it was original I'd already have moved on it...

Nice bunch of guns there. That 6x Burris on the 250 sounds like a dandy hunting rig. I like your gun rack too.
