im leaning towards the 120 ttsx. what say you experts?

Tons of good bullets for what you're talking about. To what kind of ranges?

My .260 loves the 130 TSX, haven't tried the 120 TTSX as of yet. It also loves the 130 and 140 Bergers.

I've kind of settled on the 130 Accubond as my all-around bullet in the .264. For whatever that's worth

Not an expert but....
All the 130 class Nosler, Hornady and Barnes bullets I have shot game with in my 6.5x284 have performed well on whitetails and mulies. No elk yet.

The 120 ttsx is the cat's meow in my 6.5-284.

I'm no expert, but the 140 gr partition is a little plow in my Swede with bullet testing thus far, has a descent BC too.

127 LRX is new this year. Slightly higher BC and should be great in the .284 case.

One of the numerous things that is endearing about the 6.5mm's is their are so many awesome bullets to choose from. Your choice is even more difficult because 400 yds is your limit and they pretty much could all fit into the range limitation; you lucky guy. If you were planning on 400+ then that would limit some of your choices.

129 Horn would be another goody. Oddly I've not found an accurate load in my .260 with the bullet as of yet. If I did I'd most likely use it for all that moves.

120 Speer HC or the 140 in same would be good as well.

At the speeds the 6.5x284 flings 'em, I lean towards the new Barnes 127g LRX or the 120g TTSX. But that's me.

I'll second that, I've had pretty good luck with it out of my 264 Win. Mag. Sako L61R and my 6.5x55 Tikka T-3, accurate and has been pretty tough on pigs and deer.

I'm sure you'd get favorable results out of your 6.5X284.

Chucker, I've got some Sierra 130gr HPBT Gamekings if you want try them? Got a full box and figure I won't use them up right away in the 6.5-06.

My 6.5-284 likes the 140 grain Accubonds and the 140 Hornady A-Max. I used the Accubonds for a blackbuck, a sika bull, an aoudad, and a whitetail in Texas last year. All taken with one shot. Pass through on all but the Aoudad

the 120 ttsx are the bullets i use in my swede, with good results so i may do that.
