Yeehaw! Giddy up! That Lyman took off like a SHOT! One just sold for over $500. This one seems to be headed in that direction. Seems like a nice Leupold would make more sense. Looks like a couple bidders want it and someone's gonna pay.

And how would you mount that Leupold on an original Savage 1920? I sighted mine in today at lunch. 100 yards from the bench. Not bad for a Lyman 54. Took me a little to get it dialed in, but you can see the basic order of the shots I took.

And how would you mount that Leupold on an original Savage 1920? I did not mention anything about mounting it on a 1920. All I was implying was that the cost of that particular sight vs the cost of a new Leupold. Nothing more, nothig less. Sorry if I offended you. Nice shooting BTW.

Look at the bid history - the person bidding it up is bidding just under an even amount - is he really wanted it he probably would have been bidding an even amount PLUS $1 or $2. It's the same bidder that has driven up a couple other Savage items recently and has had four bid retraction in the last few months ... don't look just right to me. BidderProfile

What I don't quite understand is why the high bidder pays through the nose for the ones on Ebay but turns around and has had one for sale on GB for the last month?????
Do you need one or not?

Do you need one or not? That doesn't make any sense ... until I realized the one on GB doesn't have the mounting screws! ..... wonder what they would bring by themselves?
