I'm looking at the Google Nexus 7 Tablet, wondering if anyone has one like it, and what they think of it. Thanks for any replies.

My wife has one for about a week now and an Ipad too, she likes the Nexus. I wish I could give specifics but all she says is " this things cool"
The collection of taxes which are not absolutely required, which do not beyond reasonable doubt contribute to public welfare, is only a species of legalized larceny. Under this Republic the rewards of industry belong to those who earn them. Coolidge

It is a nice device, but you really need to ask yourself what you plan to do with it to understand if its value will outlive the cool factor. You can read email, etc. on it, but it is really no better than an Android phone for that. The larger screen makes it better for reading books, watching videos, etc.

I'd give a look at the new "kindle hd" before you buy. I also believe the old style kindle is selling for around, $160.

I just bought both of my kids Kindle Fire HD tablets. My son for his birthday and my daughter's is for Christmas.
If your more into content (music, books, etc) then the Kindle is the way to go. The Kindle also offers twice the memory as the Nexus. Also has great speakers.
I'm told if your more into the apps then the Nexus is the way to go. I believe they have a quad processor as opposed to the Kindle's dual processor.
Either one I'm told is good, depending on what you'll be using it for. My son got his Kindle yesterday and he hasn't put it down yet. But in all honesty, if it were a Nexus he would have had the same reaction
