Accuweather.

It has a few tabs at the top of the page for 5, 10,15, and month long forecasts.

They're hit and miss like the weathermen, but they give you some sort of idea anyway.

I think when they get that far out they go by averages but I'm not positive.

Glad you like it. Anyone can make one. All it takes is a drill press, a few handtools and about 2 yrs of your life smile The drill press may even be optional.

I think it looks better like this:

We were pretty lonely out in the timber last night and this morning for the short times I was out. According to the wife, apparently there were deer right behind the house that were scared my way by the dogs last night. I never saw them however. We need better teamwork...

I have a question for the shirt order people.

Of the 80 some shirts total, we have around 17-18 shirts ordered with the white ink for the logo.

Many have requested an antique white. I can't seem to get an antique white but the screen printer suggested a light gray.

So, should we go light gray or straight up white?

Brent, get that deer an "amberlamps", he leaking.

Straight up White for me.

Made it up to camp to try and clear the culvert now that we've taken care of the beaver issue. Not good news to report. The plug is so far in that we can just barely reach it on the up stream end. We can't reach it at all on the down stream end. We managed to get a little water flowing through, but not much.

Not sure how were going to clear ir yet. Water is too cold and deep to go swimming.

Forgot to mention that a semi lost it's load of cranberries just out of Wausau. South bound I39 was backed up for about 5 miles. There was a good 1/2 mile of road covered in berry relish and juice. Looks like the trailer split in half. That's the 2nd load of berries that has been lost in less than a week.

I asked for white or antique white on a black shirt. If everyone else goes to gray I'm ok with that and will accept it but I really prefer white of some type.
Regarding deer season, our muzzle loader season ran Oct. 1 thru Oct. 10 and gun season started Oct. 11 and will run thru Jan. 1,2013.We can and I do hunt even in regular gun season with the muzzle loader a lot.

Well that's great. I just never thought we'd see the day where we had a management based legal means to hunt them in the midwest here. Granted, the chances of getting drawn are slim, and the chances of getting a gray in the crosshairs is even slimmer... But i'm glad there is a legal means provided for those lucky enough to draw a tag and I'm glad the states (MN-WI) can now manage as they see fit.

tzone,
I have been muzzle loader hunting three times to the 87 acre property we regularly hunt but not anywhere else yet.I've not seen anything.
I plan to go this afternoon.
I'm going to the gun club this morning to see how the scoped .22 auto pistol does.I mounted the scope week before last but this will be the first time I've had a chance to get over there.I did laser bore sight it.

Happiness last night was coming home to find that my new blaze-orange hunting jacket was delivered from Cabelas. My first new hunting jacket in 18 years.

Welcome to the 21st century and "waterproof breathable" outerwear. smile

I hunted many years with a regular winter coat and an orange zip hoodie or orange zip up vest over the coat.
