Ended up getting a decent bull on day 2. We hunted out of a base camp and hiked in from 3-6 miles daily. We went early to Scout and Archery Hunt as Rifle opens Oct 1st. Passed up a small 6 point at 20 yards during Archery as we knew better bulls were around. Shot him at about 3 miles in so not too bad of a pack out. Used a DANA Shortbed External for something different. The Pack felt great but the bag is less than desirable in General for hunting. Really liked not having my back all sweaty as the Dana external let's plenty of air in. Carried better than my NICE Frame but still not the perfect pack.

Nice bull, congratulations. Looks awfully warm there.

Nice looking bull! Sounds like a fun hunt, I'm hoping to draw again in 2013 and hunt with the boy down that way.

Great bull! If you get a chance, would love to hear your take on some of your gear. What pants are those in the picture?

Kuiu attack Pants Comfortable but are already showing signs of balling up in spots so not real impressed on durability.

Yes that is a real beauty. What was you rifle/cartridge/bullet selection?
