Wow. I didn't know that. I'd like to know, too.

Yes, that has been kicking around for several years now, but hasn't happened yet. The following is from a thread in 2002 on RimFireCentral

"Too early to order, so don't hold your breath... For the moment, a list was made with all the things that would be worthwhile improvements, and the manufacturer is ready to start 'prototyping'.
Specs were:
- Rimless extractor available
- Possibility for adjustable trigger
- Larger barrel shank
- Cleaning hole at the rear of the action
- Possibly several different levers available (standard, PG,...)
- with CF and/or RF blocks (the CF's to modern specs, no need for bushing)
- BSA 12/15 takedown system (not the cadet split pin)
Manufacture will be in USA, using state-of-the-art technology, to close tolerances.
Phase I would be the small cadet, and if that works, work up in action size. They will have 1 thing in common - all, even the larger action will be according to the Francotte patent - all parts mounted on the trigger guard.
Also, spares would be made available (like extractors....) which will fit both originals and the new action - complete parts interchangeability.
And me? Just a Martini addict, doing some free consulting and spouting advice, together with a few other martini aficionado's and professionals, who constitute the 'think tank' for the project... No money in it for me except the pleasure of seeing the Martini rise again!"

Iwould live to see this also but I ain't holding my breath.
BTW, this ismy last Martini Cadet project - 35/30-30 Octagon Douglas 22" barrel, quick connect scope mounts and Weaver El Paso K4
