Nice! I got mine 2 years ago in .300 RUM. They are good shooters all you really have to do is tune up that 7lb trigger, top it off with a Leuppie and your good to go. It seems like Remington always discontinues the good ones>
The 162gr A-Max backed by a stiff load of R-25 lit up by a Fed 215M is a force to be reckoned with. Talk about super flat. I wish they made a 200gr Amax in 7mm with a 7 twist BBL it would have a BC around 8 or 9!!!!

No, I can't take credit for the pic. I'm Jon A over there and those bullets aren't mine.
But I'm waiting for some that should look just like them--just a bit bigger and meaner--30 Cal 250's.

What twist do you have? Unfortunately Richard doesn't have much of a site himself yet: http://www.wildcatbullets.com/ . Email him and he'll be happy to help. Also you can find much info on these bullets ant Longrangehunting.com .

I ordered a 1 in 10" Sendero taper Krieger. I had 160`s in mind on the heavy end of the scale. It is just a hunting rifle.

Tim, You will need a 7 twist BBL for the best results with the Wildcat 200 grain 7mm RBBT ULD. You could probably get away with an 8 twist.
Jon What are you loading the 250's in? I could use some 250's for my 300.

300 RUM. I've got a 27" Lilja 3 groove 1:9 twist comming that should be delivered any day now. Those bullets, that barrel and US869 just might be a match made in heaven.

Tim_in_TN: The bullets in the picture above are the new Sauter jacketed bullets. They have a heavier, tapered jacket than the previous J-4 jacketed bullets did. I killed a deer and an elk this past hunting season with the J-4 version of this 200 grain bullet. Im shooting them in a 1-7 twist barrel. A 1-8 might work, but I know a 1-10 wont because I tried it and they were inconsistent at anything past 200-300 yards. I just couldnt stabilize them. Richard Graves of Wildcat Bullets makes a 7mm, 169.5 grain ULD RBBT bullet that looks just like those above, only shorter. They work great for me in a 1-10 twist 7mm barrel. E-mail Richard at: wildcatbullets hotmail.com. Hell answer any questions you might have and is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Just got mine too. Stumbled up on a trade at a local gun shop. SS sucks action, DM(which will prolly go in favor of a floor plate or HS bottom metal), #4 Douglass barrel @28", factory tupperware which will also get chunked. All for $560. The smith that did the work on the rifle was more than happy to answer my questions when i called him. And he has a very strong following and a high reputation for building quality rifles.
