OP Winnie Campfire Tracker Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 6,387 Central California	I don't drink a lot of it but when the weather is overcast and rainy I do. How do you like yours? Sounds a little gay but a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks is pretty good. I make it less gay by sharing with the girlfriend.

I like a good dark roast, black. Starbuck's dark is awesome both flavor- & caffiene-wise.

I used to drink coffee like that, it got to the point I could actually feel my kidneys hurting I cut back to about 2 cups a day and drink a lot of water, still go to the bathroom a lot...

I grind a mix of regular roast and columbian whole beans and make it over the stove. I used to use a french press. Actually, I still do but the filter broke. Now I just pour it over the grinds and stir it occasionally until ready in about 5 min. Then pour it through a finum filter. That allows me to grind it finer than for regular french press too (get more flavor that way). I like mine with milk, no sugar. If I'm out camping, I typically drink it black if humping it, with milk if truck camping from the ice chest. Oh, and I also like it cold too. So I keep some fresh made and in the fridge. If I want it hot, I just make it fresh then.
