OP buckhorn1916 Campfire Greenhorn B Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 30 Georgia	Anyone out there have an older, early 80's, Rem. 700 in 7mm Rem. mag with a rivetless extractor? Remington says all magnum 700's have riveted extractors, but I disagree. Mine appears to be rivetless, but just wanted to see if anyone else also had a magnum 700 with a rivetless extractor..The part is not available..Only riveted extractors are available for Rem. 700 magnum bolts...Any ideas? Thanks.

Sheister Campfire Outfitter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 7,988 Likes: 3 Oregon	Take it to a gunsmith and have him put in the extractor that is available. If that means installing a riveted extractor, he should have the skills and means to do it. Another option is to have a Sako style extractor installed. Bob Never underestimate your ability to overestimate your ability.
