was handeling 2 sp101s the other day. the back nof the trigger guard sits right on the knockle of my middle finger. that just dont seem right. have fired an sp before it had aftermarket grips and dont rememmber it fitting that way. what do you guys do, or is this not a problem?

Not sure which grips Ruger is throwing on the new ones, but you can't go wrong by throwing a set of Hogues on an SP101.

Both of mine have Hogue grips or the whack my knuckle The hogue grips put a different angle on the grips which is much easier on the hand and easier to control..

I love my SP101 but I too am running Hogues.
