I built a gun for elk season that is now over so I was going to see if anyone is in need of a long range rifle. I shot and killed my elk at 1350 yards in 1 shot with a 300gr Berger OTM. It has about 300 - 400 down the tube practicing for the one shot at an elk.
I have a Remington 700 that is timed and trued and chambered in 338 edge by Chad at Long Rifle inc. The barrel is a 29" Montana rifleman and was threaded 5/8 x 24 and has a hk style muzzlebreak, contour is a Varmit weight barrel, if you want the exact contour I can send you a link. It is in a glass bedded (by me) McMillan A5 with and adjustable cheek and Graco LOP butt plate with a limbsaver pad. Has a 6oz rifle basix trigger w/ safety, 20 moa egw scope base and a rail on the front for a Atlas bipod as well as the back for a rear monopod. Also has a Seekin's, lapua length DBM system. It is all duracoated a choclate brown color with od green and I added a little Krylon tan for effect. I will post pics after work in anyone is interested. I have $2430 into the gun with no shipping included, I would like $1900 shipped from and me. I have a Vortex Razor HD 5-20 on the gun right now, not included in the price but I can leave if for a price if someone is interested. Also the weight is right around 16lbs with the scope and atlas on it.
