My wife and I had a great hunt the last few days in Wyoming, one I'll never forget. It was a lot of work for the two of us, but well worth it in every way. A great DIY hunt that was the product of many, many hours spent learning the area, scouting, etc. In one day and 2 hours of hunting we saw 58 bulls, most all of them 6x6's. Shot mine with a 7mm RM and 160 accubonds 204 yards, died in his bed. About half the other 15 bulls never even got out of their beds after I shot. The next morning we decided to look in another area and we quickly found a herd of 6 six points. My wife took the best in the bunch with a nice shot at 192 yards with her 7-08 and 140 grain accubonds. Shot the bull behind the shoulder and he slowly turned and stumbled down hill 5 yards and was down. Found the bullet in the opposite shoulder perfectly expanded. It was a great experience in particular since it was my wifes first elk ever. Even though she's really happy with the bull, she is even more proud of her antelope she shot this year in Wyoming.

Two awesome bulls and one stud of an antelope! The taxidermy bill is welcomed I'm sure. Im guessing that was a LE unit, not a general unit for the elk hunt?

Great job there.
I had a 320 class bull at 30 yards north of Kemmerer...silly me was too cheap to buy a non-resident general tag, so I bought a reduced price cow tag instead. Live and learn.
That antelope is awesome!

That antelope is REALLY nice but that elk will EAT a lot better. Conglads, Bob I'm the opposite, I prefer well-cared-for antelope over elk.
