For that I held my nose and voted for Romney, but for a local office, where my choice was to vote for the Democrat or to write someone in, I wrote in Bozo The Clown. How is it that there's no Republican running for some of these local positions?

Though a majority of the local "democrats" are conservative and just don't know they aren't democrats of the day anymore.... I had to vote for a number of democrats for local office....nobody runs as a repub for judge in Orleans parish. I figured a second term Obama can do more harm than a first term Romney, who will at least be under some pressure from the grass roots to operate somewhat conservatively, or at least less to the left than he would otherwise prefer.
