To all of you good folk gunowners in these battleground states that got out and voted for the cause yesterday...THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!
To those many who sat it out because Romney wasn't Mr. Perfect, THANK YOU from Barrack Hussein Obama.

hugs-n-kisses from Washington state What's that supposed to mean? I've been doing my part since 1964's election. 2 of my kids live and vote R in Nashville. If you're bashing, try living in a Blue state. It was all we could do to elect an R congressman from my district. Did you help out Allen's campaign in Virginia or West's in Florida? Just what did you do for the cause that you can put down others...Mr. Volunteer state guy? apologies if I misconstrued your remarks.

We tried. I saw a map today that indicated Obama only won 12 of 67 counties in Pa. Trouble is those counties include Erie, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Philthy, Allentown-Easton-Bethlehem, and Wilkes Barre- Scranton. All the big cities in Pa. I was surprised that Centre County (home to PSU) went for Romney, maybe some of those college kids and professors are getting it. In a couple of other upstate counties I saw, it was 3 to 1 for Romney. But it takes a lot of voters to offset all the Democrat votes produced in Philly.

I think you can throw Florida in that mix as well, they've still not called that race, but Obama leads it by 50,000ish and its primarily absentee votes from Miami-Dade that is the hold up.

This has probably been repeated all over the forum, but in case anyone missed it. If Romney had gotten the same number of votes that McCain got in 2008, he would probably have won.
Big O was 6-10 million votes less than last time, so if we all had showed up, thngs would be a whole lot different.

You misconstrued. btw, don't fly off the handle so quick voted 'red' straight ticket since I was 18 years old and never missed a vote- Only exception is we have an open primary and I "trash vote" for the weak candidate on the Dem ticket. Glad your family lives in Nashville- great city, it will enrich their lives.

Got to tell you, being in a blue state that goes blue with only a few small pockets of blue in a sea of predominately red is almost more frustrating. We are essentially in the same boat.

Apparently they can't go 3 days after a storm without needing MRE's handed out to them. Simply amazing that folks have no sense of self preservation.

It means that Red States are tired of getting [bleep] by Blue States, that's all. 150 years is about enough. Deja vu for me, or for anyone here who has lived in New York State or Pennsylvania. Most of those states are red, its just them #%&* big cities royally screwing the whole. So, America is becoming like New York State writ on a larger scale. Sucks Birdwatcher

Sad part is, I've spent the last thirty years of my life specifically living some place else other than New York State.
I love the history and geography of the place, just with the politics I could never live there is all.
Now I feel like New York has come looking fer me...
