Hello all

I'm trying to identify this Redfield receiver sight on a Model 71 I'm considering buying. Looking at pictures in Old Gunsights, it looks like an 80F(?)with the hunter adj. knobs. Old Gunsights lists the 70F and 80F as options for the Model 71. Problem is, the 80 series is listed as starting in 1957. The gun is post-war 26000 s.n. range, factory tapped. Through some research and talking to others, some of the bolts milled for the bolt peep left the factory without. Anyone's thoughts on what Redfield sight this is and when it was available would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much

Brother, ask this question at levergunscommunity.org. The guys over there have forgotten more than most people ever know about the model 71.

Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.
